City of Cambridge, Massachusetts Census 2000 Demographic Atlas

The City of Cambridge Census 2000 Demographic Atlas is a complete color atlas containing 37 maps representing Census 2000 SF1 (Short Form) data by census tract for the City of Cambridge. The data included in SF1, covering such categories as age, sex, families, race and housing units, are derived from the responses to the questions common to the U.S. Census 2000 Short Form and Long Form questionnaires. Other data such as economic and education characteristics, which are not included in SF1, will be included in the SF3 release of long form data (summer 2002).

File formats: All maps can either be viewed as .gif or .pdf file formats. Click on the thumbnail images below to view the .gif version. Click the link to the right of the map title to view the .pdf version. The .gif images are readily viewable with the browser application. The .pdf images allow for magnification and higher quality printed images, but can only be viewed using the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader.
